This guest ale comes from Three Tuns Brewery, based in the small market town of Bishop’s Castle, Shropshire and proudly regarded as one of Britain’s most historic breweries. Brewing in a 17th‑century, Grade II‑listed brewhouse, the Three Tuns holds tradition at the heart of everything it does, producing classic real ales using time‑honoured methods and the finest ingredients.
The brewery’s beer is crafted in a traditional miniature Victorian tower, using gravity to move the beer through the brewing process. Fermentation takes place in the original brewhouse, where a unique house yeast strain developed over more than 125 years helps create the distinctive Three Tuns character found in every pint.
Extensively refurbished in recent years, Three Tuns Brewery remains committed to brewing on site, protecting its heritage while continuing to produce authentic Shropshire ales with real depth and history.
